A vote is coming up on May 3, 2011, which will determine funding for a new Grand Forks Public Library.
The purpose of this blog is to educate, encourage and empower you to vote yes.
We’re here to answer your questions about the project and the vote. We want you to understand the facts so you can feel confident in your decision.
We encourage your comments, your honest feedback and your questions.
Here’s how we see it:
You go to a library to research, to find the facts, to explore ideas, to do your homework, to learn and grow. You leave the library with deepened knowledge and helpful resources.
We hope this blog fills the same purpose, providing the necessary resources to answer your questions and allow you to do your homework about the library. We hope it leaves you feeling knowledgeable, empowered and confident to cast your positive vote.
